Welcome to Glasgow for the British Society of Neuroradiologists
We would like to welcome you to the beautiful city of Glasgow on Sept 17 th and 18th
2010 to attend the annual meeting of the British Society of Neuroradiologists.
The meeting promises to be as exciting inside the venues as it is outside with its mix of culture, science and entertainment! Glasgow is a popular conference city with excellent road, rail and air links to the whole of the UK and beyond. The first radiology department in the UK was set up at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 1898 and the second EMI scanner (that’s CT to you youngsters!) in the world came to the Glasgow in 1973.
Glasgow's modern renaissance began with its' selection as European city of culture in 1990 followed by UK city of Architecture & Design in 1999.
The local Neuroradiology team extend a most warm welcome to all the BSNR members and hope that many of you will attend and contribute to this stimulating educational and cultural treat.
A very warm welcome to you all from all the Glasgow Neuroradiologists. Download BSNR flyer.
